We are just home from a visit to Churchill, Manitoba, the Polar Bear Capital of the World, to see and photograph polar bears in the wild.
At this time of year, polar bears gather on the south shore of Hudson Bay, waiting for the water to freeze so they can return to hunting their primary food source, ringed seals.
We spent three full days out on the frozen tundra, traveling in polar rovers, in search of wildlife to photograph. We had a wonderful trip and, over the next couple of days, I'll be writing more posts and uploading some photos.
